Tall Servers- The Real MVPs
According to my last height measurement, I’m 5’5 1/2″. I argued that my thick hair accounts for at least 1 1/2″ of that measurement but who am I to contest that? I’ve been praying to be taller for years. I’ll take it.
The kitchens only have so much space in width and length. So the most efficient way to use the kitchen’s limited space is to go up in height. Shelves, shelves, and more shelves. So for a person 5’4″, I mean 5’5 1/2″, the objects high up can be tough to reach.
I’m so thankful for my tall coworkers! They make the day so much smoother. They reach places too high for me. They can quickly check the ice tea urn to see if it needs a refill. Their long arms can reach hard to reach places. Hey, during dinner rush, that’s a huge deal.
