Powerful Pink Bandana

I wasn’t always a server. Hard to believe I know. I’m really good at what I do. I’ve always been working in customer service in some form. One of those forms was as a spiritual care, aka clergyman.

As a clergyman, I once cared for those who were on hospice. Hospice care are for those who are terminally ill. Among those patients were women who were diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Since they were in hospice care, their chances of surviving was extremely low.

So during the month of October, I have chosen to wear pink bandanas as part of my uniform. I remember their bravery and resilience. I remember the support of their family. How could I forget?
