Lean Forward
So…a while ago, I went on a date to one of the local pubs. We sat at the bar. And there I find a female bartender chatting with one of her regulars.
She wore a long apron. Underneath her apron was a low scoop t-shirt. This means while she’s walking around, the apron keeps her covered. But once she leans over…well, let’s continue the story here a bit.
The female bartender is chatting with her regular who happens to be male. He was by himself and was waiting for the KC Metro bus. She asked him if he wanted another drink. He wasn’t certain. Then she leaned over revealing a glimpse of what her momma gave her. Poor guy didn’t stand a chance. He was literally stunned and agreed to have another drink. Poor guy didn’t even see them coming.
Are female wait staff and bartenders aware of how their image effects sales and tips? Yes, we are.
The funny ending to this story is that the bartender tried the leaning over trick with my date. She got my full on icy glare. She looked a bit shaken and stepped back. As my momma always said, “Don’t start none, won’t be none.”
