A Gift Card Christmas
As one fellow server said, “Getting a gift card is a pretty good thing.” That’s what I got from the gift exchange. A Target gift card. I almost “stole” the gift from the General Manager but changed my mind. Good thing too.
I went to the dentist early the next morning. I was still tired from the previous night. That made me a pretty docile patient. The hygienist suggested an electric toothbrush. Where should I go to get that? I dug out my lil’ Target gift card and away I went.
Did you know that they are having a sale on Phillips sonic electric toothbrushes? They are $20 off. Then add my $20 gift card. Got a $60 toothbrush for like $20. Yes!
And to make it sweeter, they had a beautiful succulent plant in the office! I was pretty excited about that too!
So thank you to whoever brought the gift card. It was the gift that kept on giving. Merry Christmas!
