Dreadlocks Rule
So I went into work to start my day and the Queen greeted me. Who is the Queen, you ask? No other than the Queen of to gos. She’s awesome! She said to me, “I saw you on Cheap Eats the other night!”
I remember the filming for that night. Have you had to wait tables with a camera crew just a few feet away? I took the producer’s advice that was given to the patrons. Don’t look at the camera. It’ll suck out your soul and send it out to the world! Okay, maybe not that soul sucking part. But that camera can mesmerize you.
The restaurant owner and the tv show host were eating one of our well known burgers. Man, that burger looked good! Oh yeh, don’t look at the camera.
It took a good part of the evening to film the show. The restaurant where I work was featured in Cheap Eats hosted by Ali Khan. It’s Season 5, episode 8.
So somewhere out there, the whole world knows what the back of my head looks like. I wasn’t supposed to look at the camera, remember? Dreadlocks rule!
