Love to Family & Friends
I’d like to dedicate this to the friends, family, and significant others of those in the restaurant industry. First off, thank you for putting up with us. A server’s schedule is so unpredictable. You want to hang out at night and want us to give a certain time. We just can’t do that. We never know how busy the night will be or who will have that “heart to heart” conversation at the end of the shift delaying our departure time.
We’re tired from walking over 3 miles at a fast pace. We lift heavy and hot plates all night. We handle all sorts of personalities with a laugh and a smile. It’s our job and it’s what we do. Trust me, we love you although we seem like zombies when we meet up with you. Without your support, being a server wouldn’t be possible.
So thank you! Thank you for putting up with our crazy personalities and our crazy schedules.
